Liverpool stars perform carpool karaoke driving from Anfield to Melwood as Daniel Sturridge and Co sing 'You'll Never Walk Alone'

  • Four Liverpool stars drove from Anfield to the club's Melwood training ground
  • Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was in the driver's seat for carpool karaoke session
  • Oxlade-Chamberlain joined Daniel Sturridge, Nathaniel Clyne and Joe Gomez 
  • Liverpool are set to travel to Wembley to face Tottenham on Sunday afternoon 

Liverpool quartet Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Daniel Sturridge, Nathaniel Clyne and Joe Gomez produced a heartfelt rendition of the club anthem during a carpool karaoke session on Thursday.

Oxlade-Chamberlain drove with Sturridge in the passenger seat and defenders Clyne and Gomez in the back as they traveled from Anfield to the club's Melwood training ground. 

And as the car pulled up to Melwood, Sturridge led the way by singing along to 'You'll Never Walk Alone' with Gomez also showing off his vocal range.

They earlier clapped along to R&B classic 'Let Me Love You' by Mario in Oxlade-Chamberlain's White Range Rover.  


The Reds stars also answered a series of questions about themselves and labelled Gomez, wearing an all-black t-shirt and tracksuit outfit, as the worst dressed. 

During the question and answer round Sturridge was delighted to discover that Clyne's middle name is Edwin, causing the car to erupt with laughter.

The striker gave Oxlade-Chamberlain's barber Justin a call to find out more about Liverpool's new signing and how he prefers his haircuts.

Liverpool are in high spirits after recording the joint-biggest away win in Champions League history on Tuesday night with a 7-0 thrashing of Maribor in Slovenia. 

Oxlade-Chamberlain netted in the rout, coming off the bench to score his first goal since joining from Arsenal for £35million this summer.

Sturridge was brought on for Roberto Firmino for the final 22 minutes while Gomez stayed on the bench. Clyne remains sidelined with a back injury.

Jurgen Klopp's men return to action on Sunday when they travel to Wembley to face Tottenham in the Premier League.
