FIRST FOOTBALL MEMORY

Playing for a local team in Oxford called Garden City. 

That's my first memory, just playing with my friends. Garden City is where I got scouted by Chelsea.

THE BEST PLAYER YOU'VE PLAYED WITH

Talent wise, Ravel Morrison. He was the best talent I'd ever seen, but actually playing was probably Frank Lampard. 

Playing alongside Lampard… you just want to do well for him.

YOUR TOUGHEST OPPONENT

Yaya Toure – he was unbelievable. He's got everything. 

He was strong, quick, good on the ball, gets in the box, gets back to his own box to defend.

YOUR FAVOURITE FOOTBALLING MOMENT

Making my debut in the Champions League was one of them. Winning the Youth Cup was a big one with Chelsea because they hadn't done it for 49 years. 

Winning the Euros with England Under 17s too.

YOUR SPORTING HERO

I've got a couple. Andres Iniesta and Andrea Pirlo. 

When I was growing up, I loved their style of play and what they did for club and country. They were my role models.

YOUR TOUGHEST AWAY GROUND

I can remember playing against Marseille away. That was very hostile. I was young, it was the Champions League. 

Walking out of the tunnel I got goosebumps. The fans, the flares!

THE FIRST ALBUM YOU BOUGHT

I can't even remember buying an album! Probably a Drake album, because I like him.

YOUR KARAOKE SONG

I've had to sing a few times for initiations. My first-ever one was Build Me Up Buttercup… I don't know why. 

Then I sang The World's Greatest by R Kelly and Ne-Yo's So Sick.

BEST DRESSED TEAM-MATE

Worst dressed will be easier, because that would be Andreas Bjelland and Lasse Vibe.

YOUR DREAM DINNER PARTY GUESTS

Jessica Alba – because I like her – Andrea Pirlo and Floyd Mayweather. Them three.

Jessica Alba would be on McEachran's dream dinner guest list, along with Floyd Mayweather

IF I WASN'T A FOOTBALLER

I'd have done a lot of what my friends did and went to university to do a degree, though I'm not sure what I would have done. 

Uni did look like a good lifestyle but I can't complain – I'd prefer to be a footballer.
