Cheeky ball boys, another Alexis Sanchez tantrum and Tony Hibbert's heir: NINE things you may have missed from Everton 2-5 Arsenal

Arsenal thrashed Everton on Sunday to secure their first away win of the season and pile more pressure on beleaguered boss Ronald Koeman.

But with such an action-packed game, even the most eagle-eyed supporters will have missed some of the finer details from Goodison Park.

Fortunately, Sportsmail has provided a handy list of some of the things you may have missed from Arsenal's 5-2 win over Everton.

Arsenal bring out the big guns

Sunday's match was the first time Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette have started a game together.

It took until October 22 but Arsenal fans were finally able to see the three most expensive signings in the club's history on the same pitch from kick-off - the trio cost a combined £119million.

And the move paid off spectacularly with all three finding the back of the net to send Arsenal on their way and give manager Arsene Wenger the perfect 68th birthday present.

Breast cancer awareness day

Everton players sported special bright pink t-shirts as they warmed up before the game to raise awareness for the Breast Cancer Care charity.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and 2017 marks the 25th anniversary of the Pink Ribbon, the global symbol of breast cancer.

And Everton did their bit on Sunday by sporting the distinctive T-shirts as bucket collections took place around the ground.

Those T-shirts weren't the only pink on show at Goodison Park either. Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford wore a luminous pink goalkeeping jersey while Arsenal's away strip features a salmon-pink trim. For good measure, Craig Pawson and his match officials also sported pink.

Friendly faces

Die-hard Everton fan Tony Bellew was spotted alongside club legend and current Under 23s manager David Unsworth in the Goodison Park stands before kick-off.

The boxer greeted Unsworth, who spent 12 seasons at Everton over two separate spells, like an old friend as the pair shared a joke and embraced.

Whether they were still smiling at full time....

Worth a punt

Following on from Thursday night's ugly scenes at Goodison Park, where an Everton supporter holding a toddler punched Lyon goalkeeper Anthony Lopes, one punter appeared to consider a rather opportunistic bet on Sunday's match.

But rather than a toddler, the punter went with the supporter to be clutching a dog while punching the opposition goalkeeper at 1000-1 odds.

Needless to say the long shot didn't come in and Arsenal stopper Petr Cech emerged from the match unscathed - aside from his disastrous late mistake.

Busy half for Pickford

A scintillating opening period of football saw more shots on target than any other Premier League game before half-time so far this season with 10 in total.

And with the away side enjoying the lion's share of the opportunities, Pickford was kept extremely busy with eight saves in the first 45 minutes of the match.

Incredibly that means the 23-year-old made more stops than any Everton goalkeeper has in the club's last 50 full Premier League matches. Pickford would have been forgiven for thinking life would get easier after leaving Sunderland.

Everton finally find Hibbert's replacement

Jonjoe Kenny was handed his first ever Premier League start against Arsenal and before the match he gave Everton supporters a glimpse of what to expect.

During his pre-match routine, Kenny performed a series of rather pedestrian skills which conjured up memories of another former Toffees right back.

Everton icon Tony Hibbert famously showed off his one-footedness during a 2014 Europa League match against Lille, Kenny would do well to learn from the one-club legend.

Feisty fixture

Idrissa Gueye's dismissal means there has been a red card in four of the last five Premier League meetings between Everton and Arsenal.

Gueye was sent off for a second bookable offence leaving Everton to play the last 22 minutes plus injury time with ten men.

Gareth Barry, Phil Jagielka and Laurent Koscielny have all seen red over the past five league matches featuring the two sides.

Mischievous ball boy

Everton's players may have failed to deliver on the pitch on Sunday but one of the club's ball boys at the game certainly made the most of his time in the limelight.

As Sanchez marched over to take a corner for the away side, the ball boy realised the cameras were on him and seized his chance.

Anyone who attended a secondary school in the past 20 years knows exactly what he was getting at.

Sanchez throws another tantrum

Sanchez's frustration towards his Arsenal team-mates has been well documented over the past couple of seasons and he delivered a trademark tantrum against Everton on Sunday.

After Aaron Ramsey misplaced a pass to him, Sanchez turned towards the Welshman in frustration pointing furiously towards where he wanted it played.

It isn't the first time Ramsey has felt the full force of the Chilean's anger either but he might not have to put up with it for much longer, with just eight months remaining on Sanchez's contract at Arsenal.
