Liverpool's U23s extended their lead at the top of the Premier League 2 as they eased past Manchester United at Leigh Sports Village.
The Reds now have a five point lead over Everton and have won seven of their last eight games.
The Red Devils are rock-bottom on five points and three points away from safety.

Liverpool, it must be noted, fielded a much stronger side than their United opponents.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ben Woodburn and Danny Ings all played 90 minutes as Neil Critchley's side went from strength to strength.

But any sign of a rare United victory took a hit when Marko Grujic scored Liverpool's second of the evening.
A third arrived soon afterwards. Harry Wilson, playing up front, took advantage of slack defending to condemn United to a second consecutive defeat.
