The latest pictures of Tottenham Hotspur's new home have emerged as construction continues on the site of the club's old White Hart Lane ground. 

Spurs are hoping to have the stadium ready for the 2018-19 season and have given supporters a fresh insight by releasing an update on the work.

The latest progress made on their new 61,559-capacity ground shows the single-tier South Stand beginning to take shape, along with the upper tiers.

The latest video also shows what the stadium will look like at sunrise, with the picturesque clouds offering a stunning backdrop.

Tottenham have been keeping supporters up to date by sharing regular updates on the new White Hart Lane, which will become the north Londoners home from the beginning of next season.

The new stadium is set to be the largest club football stadium in London, surpassing Arsenal's 60,000-seater Emirates Stadium. The single-tier South Stand alone will hold 17,500 spectators.

In addition to hosting home games, Tottenham announced that the new ground will also be able to hold NFL matches thanks to the world's first retractable pitch.

Spurs have been playing their home matches at Wembley this season and their latest victory came in Champions League against Real Madrid.

Dele Alli netted a brace and Christian Eriksen also got on the scoresheet as Mauricio Pochettino's side sealed a 3-1 victory and progressed to the knock-out stages.

Tottenham are back in action at the weekend when they host Crystal Palace at midday on Sunday.
