Former Chelsea star Ramires appeared to reveal he is back at their training ground after posting a photo of his football boots to Instagram and geo-tagging his location in Cobham.

The Jiangsu Suning midfielder was present at the club's 1-0 victory over Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, but with the Chinese Super League in pre-season, little was thought of it.

It now appears he is back in west London for more than just a reunion with the Premier League champions allowing him to continue rehabilitation on an ongoing injury at their training base.

He posted a simple photo of his football boots, but added 'Cobham Training Centre' as his location to suggest he is back where he won every major trophy English football has to offer in six seasons.

The Brazilian has plenty of time to recover for the start of the new CSL season in March, but, according to recent reports, he may not be returning to the Far East at all.

A story in Gazetta dello Sport claimed a deal between Inter Milan and Jiangsu Suning is close to being finalised ahead of the January window.

The move is not quite over the line, with Inter wanting to look at other option, with only one spot left in their side for non-EU players.

However, the club expect to be priced out of moves for other targets including Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey and Lille's Yves Bissouma, making Ramires the most likely arrival.

Ramires has made 32 appearances for Jiangsu Suning, finding the net 11 times. He made 261 appearances for Chelsea before leaving the club to move to China in 2016.
