Following France's victory over Wales on Friday, Antoine Griezmann received a pleasant surprise in the changing room.

The Atletico Madrid star was greeted by close friend and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba straight after the final whistle at the Stade de France.

Griezmann took to Instagram to post a short video of himself warmly embracing the injured France international in the dressing room.

In the social media clip, Griezmann can be heard shouting 'mon ami' ('my friend') before going in for a hug with Pogba, who watched France's victory from the stands as he is currently recovering from a hamstring injury.

However, there special moment together was interrupted by team-mate Blaise Matuidi, who lands a big kiss on Griezmann's cheek.

The Atletico forward appeared in very high spirits after the game and it comes as no surprise after he opened the scoring with a fine strike in France's 2-0 victory over Chris Coleman's side in Paris.

The 26-year-old netted France's opener in the 18th minute before Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud doubled the hosts lead on 71 minutes to wrap the match up.

Didier Deschamps' side take on reigning World Cup champions Germany away on Tuesday night as they continue their preparations for next summer's tournament in Russia.
