Holland enjoyed a comfortable victory 3-0 on Tuesday night in Bucharest, thanks to goals from Memphis Depay, Ryan Babel and Luuk de Jong.

It was the perfect ending for manager Dick Advocaat, who took charge of his last Holland match.

Following the disappointment of not qualifying for the World Cup in Russia, it ended on a very positive note for Advocaat as he became the first Netherlands manager in history to claim 37 wins.

The first half lacked any real highlights in Bucharest on Tuesday and we had to wait until the 47th minute for the first goal.

Manchester United misfit Depay opened the scoring with a header at the far post before Babel doubled the visitors lead with a volley from close range just nine minutes later.

It marked the former Liverpool man's first international goal since May 2008.

At the other end, Romania nearly had a lifeline but Gheorghe Grozav wasted a chance to reduce the deficit by side-footing straight at Jasper Cilleseen.

And the result was then wrapped up for the Dutch with just under 10 minutes of normal time remaining as substitute De Jong headed home his fourth international goal from Steven Berghuis' free-kick.
