Bournemouth

The Cherries will have captain Simon Francis available again following a one-match ban.

Striker Jermain Defoe (calf) and midfielder Junior Stanislas (groin) both missed Saturday's goalless draw at Swansea. Defenders Brad Smith (hip) and Tyrone Mings (back) continue their rehabilitation.

Provisional squad: Begovic, Daniels, S Cook, Francis, Ake, Ibe, Surman, Arter, Pugh, King, Wilson, Boruc, A Smith, L Cook, Simpson, Fraser, Gosling, Afobe, Mousset, Defoe, Stanislas

Burnley

The Clarets' ever-present back four could see its first change of the Premier League season, with Matt Lowton a doubt.

Lowton took a knock against Arsenal on Sunday and will be assessed, with Phil Bardsley ready to step in at right-back in required.

Chris Wood could return in place of Ashley Barnes up front but Dean Marney, Jon Walters (both knee) and Tom Heaton (shoulder) all remain out.

Provisional squad: Pope, Lindegaard, Lowton, Long, Mee, Taylor, Ward, Tarkowski, Bardsley, Defour, Brady, Ulvestad, Hendrick, Cork, Westwood, Arfield, Gudmunsson, Vokes, Barnes, Wood, Wells

Key match stats (supplied by Opta)

o Bournemouth’s 2-1 win against Burnley in May ended a seven-match winless run against the Clarets in all competitions – they haven’t recorded back to back wins since November 1998.

o Burnley have won just once in their last six visits to Bournemouth in league competition (D2 L3).

o Burnley have won 11 points from their six Premier League away games so far this season (W3 D2 L1), this after collecting just seven points away from home in the whole of 2016-17 (W1 D4 L14).

o The Clarets have won four of their last eight away Premier League games (D2 L2), as many as they managed in their first 55 games in the competition.

o After winning 1-0 at Southampton on November 4, Sean Dyche’s side will be looking to win successive Premier League away matches for only the second time – the only other occasion was back in May 2015.

Asmir Begovic has kept three successive clean sheets in the Premier League for the Cherries

Asmir Begovic has kept three successive clean sheets in the Premier League for the Cherries

o Bournemouth haven’t beaten a side starting that day inside the top seven of the Premier League since they beat Liverpool last December; drawing three and losing eight of these matches since, including losing all three this season.

o Bournemouth have kept three successive clean sheets in the Premier League; their best-ever run in the competition.

o Asmir Begovic kept those three clean sheets, as many as he’d managed in his previous 21 Premier League starts – the Bosnian goalkeeper has never gone four games in a row without conceding in the Premier League.

o Bournemouth have had more English scorers in the Premier League this season than any other club (six – Daniels, Defoe, Surman, Stanislas, Wilson and Steve Cook) and used the most English players (13).

o Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope has only conceded four goals from open play in his first 10 Premier League games.
