Watford's players still feel the ‘sky is the limit’ with Marco Silva as manager after threatening a comeback against Manchester United on Tuesday night.

The Hornets were 3-0 down at half-time but set up a grandstand finish with second-half goals from Troy Deeney and Abdoulaye Doucoure.

They eventually lost 4-2 to Jose Mourinho’s United but are now desperate to bounce back this weekend when Tottenham are the visitors to Vicarage Road.

‘I didn’t recognise a lot of players in the first half,’ said Watford’s Marvin Zeegelaar.

‘We came back but it was too late. The game was lost and we ended up with nothing.

‘We have another big game against Tottenham now but we must play like we did in the second half otherwise they will punish us.

‘We want to win all the games, even against the big clubs. We have shown already that we can do it as we have beaten Arsenal here.

‘We want to finish as high as possible. We have some good players. So the sky is the limit.’
