Arsenal's title hopes have absolutely gone now, says Chris Sutton as pundit criticises Arsene Wenger's backline
- Arsenal drew 1-1 away to Southampton in the Premier League on Sunday
- Substitute Olivier Giroud scored two minutes before time to earn a point
- Sportsmail columnist Chris Sutton believes it was the same old story for Arsenal
- Sutton also said Arsenal's hopes of winning the league were now over
Sportsmail columnist Chris Sutton has written off Arsenal's hopes of winning the Premier League title for another year.
Substitute Olivier Giroud rescued a point for the Gunners two minutes before time after Charlie Austin had opened the scoring.
While Sutton accepts it was a 'good point' in context, he now believes Arsene Wenger's side must settle for simply challenging for the top four.

Substitute Olivier Giroud rescued a point for Arsenal two minutes from time at Southampton
Arsenal are fifth in the league and 14 points away from Manchester City at the summit.
Sutton told BT Sport: 'Scoring late you'd say it is a good point at that stage but before the game in context Arsenal would have looked at this and thought it was a must-win game.
'Their title hopes have absolutely gone and it's a fight for the top four now.'
Sutton was also left amazed that Arsene Wenger hasn't noticed where Arsenal's problems lie
Sutton also criticised Arsenal's defence. Wenger opted to play three central defenders of Laurent Koscielny, Per Mertesacker and Nacho Monreal.
Not acceptable, according to the former Chelsea striker.
'Can Arsenal win a title with that back line? We all know the answer. Absolutely not and it is as simple as that. How can Arsene Wenger not see that?'
