Stoke and Swansea want to sign Fulham full-back Ryan Fredericks in January.

Fredericks, whose contract at Craven Cottage expires at the end of the season, is up for grabs this month and is valued at about £3million.

The quick 25-year-old right-back starred in Fulham’s FA Cup third-round tie against Southampton on Saturday.

Fredericks came through the ranks at Tottenham but failed to appear in the Premier League. He had a brief spell at Bristol City before being bought by Fulham in 2015.


Stoke are keen to add the player to their ranks after seeing their season quickly derail and relegation become a serious possibility.

The Potters parted ways with manager Mark Hughes following their recent FA Cup third round defeat by Coventry.
