He appeared to be fully involved with Sam Allardyce's side, participating in a number of drills.

Having signed a contract for three-and-a-half years, Walcott will be looking to immediately impress his new colleagues and manager.

The England international has barely featured for the Gunners this season and will be keen to get match fit as soon as possible.

After signing, Walcott spoke of his ambition to reignite a career that was in danger of going stale.

'I'm very ambitious and I've come here because I want the club to push to the next level,' he said.

'With the players that have come in, I feel like the next level can be reached. I'm very excited to be starting a new chapter and I felt this was the right place for me to be.

'The manager is very ambitious and I feel like the club is going in the right direction. Everton is a club with a great history.

'The fans are always passionate, they're great and I always used to find it very tough playing here. The club has won trophies but I want them to win trophies now.'

Now Walcott will be looking to seize his chance if Allardyce deploys him from the start or off the bench against West Brom on Saturday.
