The Frenchman has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid but has kept tight lipped over those rumours.
But now Wenger has revealed the French national team job has been offered to him on a number of occasions but he's never been tempted to leave The Emirates.
Wenger told BeIN Sports: "I have had the opportunity to be France coach several times.
"As the France coach, there are only two interesting things: the World Cup and the Euros. The rest is a little bit of a waste of time."
Wenger joined the Gunners in 1996 and is the longest-serving boss working in the English professional leagues.
His tenure at The Emirates looked to be coming to an end as he stalled over signing a new contract towards the end of last season.
But he went on to claim the FA Cup - ending a run of eight years without a trophy - and could remain in charge for another two-and-a-half years.
