Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says he will not be making any signings during the January transfer window.

But he has assured the Chelsea faithful that none of the current squad will be leaving Stamford Bridge either.

"We have a short squad but we've got good players, some younger, some older, but the squad is very, very good," Mourinho told talkSPORT.

"Our project is to start and finish the season with the same group of players, so there will be nobody to leave and nobody to come in either."

David De Gea has told his Manchester United team-mates he is staying at the club.

According to The Sun, De Gea will reject Real Madrid's advances and has even indicated that he is ready to pledge his future to United.

The Spain stopper, 24, has only 18 months left on his current contract, but, according to the report, has assured his United pals that he intends to stay at Old Trafford.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is sure Raheem Sterling will not be distracted by ongoing speculation over his future.

Sterling is currently negotiating a new contract with the Reds, however a deal has yet to be agreed.

Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Sterling, but Rodgers believes the 20-year-old is fully focussed on Liverpool.

He said: "I think Raheem has been brilliant. I think he's been absolutely outstanding.

"The kid has been a real catalyst for us in terms of our attacking threat. I don't think there's any way there's anything affecting him."
