Courtois was back in training yesterday as he steps up his rehabilitation from a knee injury.
Mourinho says the Belgian is unlikely to play this month, with a return pencilled in for December.
His presence on the first team scene will give under-performing Chelsea a lift as the look to turn their season around.

“Things are going normal and the pictures that you have are not photoshop," Mourinho said.
“He’s training with the team in some activities, but he’s still in the hands of the medical department.
"Falcao is back soon and Thibaut Courtois will be back in December, too."
Courtois starred between the posts last season but has been out of the team since injuring his knee in September.
Summer signing Asmir Begovic has deputised for Courtois during the 23-year-old's time on the treatment table.
But he'll be shunted out of his starting spot when the Belgium international makes his return in time for the hectic Christmas period.
