Zlatan Ibrahimovic is reportedly set to become Jose Mourinho’s first Manchester United signing within the next 48 hours.

United sacked Louis van Gaal yesterday and are set to announce Mourinho as his successor.

The Mirror claim that the Special One’s first piece of transfer business will be welcoming Swedish superstar Ibrahimovic to Old Trafford.

The 34-year-old is a free agent after leaving Paris St-Germain and United are set to hand him a one-year, £250,000-a-week contract.

Arsenal are reportedly set to shell out £80m on up to six new signings.

The Mirror report that a £30m deal for Granit Xhaka will be the first piece of business by the north Londoners with his deal set to be confirmed within the next couple of days.

They then claim that Arsene Wenger is determined to land a top class striker and centre half.

Leicester are reportedly set to offer Danny Drinkwater a bumper new contract to ward off interest from Liverpool.

The midfield ace played a key role in the Foxes’ stunning title win attracting interest from Jurgen Klopp and the Reds.

The Daily Mail claim that Leicester are determined to keep their star and will hand him an improved deal worth £80,000-a-week.

Drinkwater last signed a contract in 2014 but could now be handed a two-year extension.
