The sensational claims come from American outlet TMZ as the Belgian nears a £75m switch to Manchester United.
But the report goes on to say Lukaku ‘was not brought to the police station or formally booked’.
Instead, he was ‘merely given a citation’ for his behaviour.
The incident took place on July 2 and police are said to have been called six times and Lukaku was told to keep the noise down.
Lukaku has been enjoying a holiday in the USA alongside close friend Paul Pogba.
United released a statement this morning saying they had reached an agreement with Everton over the signing of the striker.
It said: “Manchester United is delighted to announce that it has agreed a fee with Everton for the transfer of Romelu Lukaku. The transfer is subject to a medical and personal terms.
“A further announcement will be made in due course.”
Lukaku was in stunning form for Everton last season, netting 25 goals in the Premier League.
And Jose Mourinho has decided to sign the striker who he previously sold to the Toffees when he was in charge at Chelsea.
United will want Lukaku involved in their pre-season tour of the USA with their first match against LA Galaxy on July 15.
