The Colombia international has spent the past three years on the La Liga giants’ books after joining them off the back of an impressive World Cup in Brazil.

But he’s failed to replicate the form which made him the 2014 tournament’s standout player and he looks set to leave the Bernabeu this summer.

Rodriguez has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, with United or Chelsea the most likely destination.

And reports in Spain suggest his agent is busy at work trying to get him a switch to England, France or Italy.

Colombia international James Rodriguez has spent the past three years at Real Madrid

According to Sport, Dani Ceballos’ imminent arrival spells trouble for Rodriguez in Madrid.

And Mendes is in the process of offering him around in a bid to find him a new team.

Sport claim he’s contacted United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Inter Milan, Juventus and Paris St-Germain.

James Rodriguez has won seven trophies since joining Real Madrid from Monaco in July 2014

However, none of those sides are apparently willing to pay Real Madrid’s asking price.

Sport say Rodriguez is valued at £66m (€75m) - slightly less than they paid Monaco for him.

Real Madrid gaffer Zinedine Zidane is believed to be in a rush to sell the 25-year-old though.

And that could yet see Florentino Perez lower his demands in a bid to push a deal through.
