Manchester United-bound Romelu Lukaku has completed a medical ahead of his move to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils confirmed yesterday that they have agreed a fee with Everton to pave the way for the signing of the Belgium international.

And they said completion of the deal was dependent upon the 24-year-old agreeing personal terms and passing routine medical tests.

Lukaku has now revealed that he has undergone a medical in the USA via a series of posts on his verified Instagram Story.

Starsport understands the former Chelsea ace will earn £250,000 a week at United and he is likely to meet up with his new team-mates when they fly Stateside today.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid ace James Rodriguez has been offered to United by Mourinho’s agent, Jorge Mendes.

That’s according to Spanish outlet Sport, who claim the La Liga giants are desperate to offload the playmaker.

Rodriguez, 25, is expected to quit the Bernabeu this summer and has been valued at £66m by Real Madrid.

Mendes has apparently been tasked with finding a buyer for the Colombian, with United, Liverpool and Manchester City having been contacted.

Sport claim Mendes has also reached out to Italian sides Inter Milan and Juventus, as well as Ligue 1 outfit Paris St-Germain.

Finally, United have reportedly not held talks with Tottenham over Eric Dier since the end of the season.

The 23-year-old is thought to be Mourinho’s first-choice candidate to partner Paul Pogba in the heart of midfield next term.

And the Daily Mail claim an approach was made earlier this year to determine Spurs’ level of interest in letting him leave.

Tottenham made it clear they are desperate to retain Dier’s services going forwards though.

And the Daily Mail reckon there has been no new dialogue between the clubs amid The Guardian’s suggestion Mourinho wants the England man.
