Jose Mourinho could reportedly consider re-signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic in January.

The Swedish superstar was a revelation with the Red Devils last season, scoring 27 goals in 45 appearances before suffering a serious knee injury in April.

United released Ibrahimovic at the end of June when his initial one-year deal expired, but he’s stayed at Carrington for rehabilitation.

And according to The Mirror, the Red Devils may offer him a new contract at the start of next year if he makes a full recovery.

Wayne Rooney has completed his medical at Everton ahead of his romantic return to Goodison Park.

The United striker was in Liverpool yesterday to undergo the routine tests.

And Sky Sports report that the 31-year-old’s medical was successful and the transfer is now set to be confirmed.

Rooney is taking a major pay-cut in order to push through his Merseyside homecoming.
