Jose Mourinho is furious with the Glazer family on their lack of transfer spending

The Special One thinks the Glazer family are trying to do business on the cheap.

United have so far spent in excess of £100m on signing Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku but Mourinho wants more new additions in the current transfer window.

The Mirror say the Red Devils manager is angry at the slow progress being made to bring Ivan Perisic and Nemanja Matic to Old Trafford.

And Mourinho is said to seriously doubt he would receive the financial backing to sign Gareth Bale from Real Madrid should the Wales international become available.

Ed Woodward is still working tirelessly to make new acquisitions for United as they get set for a return to the Champions League.

And the Glazers have apparently told Mourinho to play the waiting game when it comes to securing his top targets.

The Special One is said to be angry over the club’s inability to make an offer Tottenham couldn’t refuse for Eric Dier.
