The Poland international has spent the past 12 months at the Stadio San Paolo after linking up with Maurizio Sarri’s squad from Udinese.

And last season he bolstered his reputation as an exciting creative talent by assisting seven goals and scoring six more for the Serie A outfit.

Zielinski was linked with Liverpool and was even pictured in a Reds shirt before he joined Napoli for around £14m a year ago.

It seems he could finally be on his way to the Premier League this summer with two north west giants reportedly interested in securing his services.

Transfer Market Web claim United sent scouts to watch Zielinski in action last season.

And they say the Red Devils are still keen on the 23-year-old midfielder.

United could face competition from near neighbours City in the hunt for Zielinski though.

Transfer Market Web say Pep Guardiola’s side have lodged an enquiry with Napoli over his availability.

However, the two Manchester clubs are not the only teams with their eyes on Zielinski.

Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Paris St-Germain and Real Madrid apparently like the look of him too.
