Jose Mourinho hinted earlier this week he could be tempted in making a bid to sign Bale.
The Wales international has long been linked with a move to Old Trafford and Madrid fans have grown increasingly frustrated at Bale's injury woes over the past few seasons.
Bale made just 17 league starts for Zinedine Zidane's side last season as they went on to win the La Liga and Champions League double.
He started for the Spanish giants last night in the UEFA Super Cup match against United with Isco and Casemiro's goals cancelling out Romelu Lukaku's second-half strike.
And Madrid president Florentino Perez has once and for all put to bed rumours linking the 28-year-old with a move away from the Bernabeu.
“Every win is important to us, but we’re going step by step,” Perez said.
“Bale? I don’t plan on selling him.
"He’s a Madrid player, he’s important for us and he’s one of the world’s best."
Bale left Tottenham for Madrid back in 2013 for a then world record fee of £85m.
And the winger committed his long-term future to the European champions last year by signing a new deal to keep him at the club until 2022.
