That’s according to Sky Sports, who claim their sources have revealed to them that the England international has not yet asked to leave Spurs.

Rose has spent 11 years on Tottenham's books after joining them from Leeds United for about £1m.

And his impressive performances over the past few seasons have helped him establish a reputation as one of the Premier League's best left-backs.

Before suffering knee ligament damage against Sunderland in January, Rose figured prominently as Tottenham looked to push Chelsea in the title race.

However, Mauricio Pochettino's men ended the campaign seven points off the pace as Rose watched on from the sidelines.

The 27-year-old has now opened up on his ambitions during a tell-all interview with The Sun which is sure to have put potentially interest parties on red alert.

And Sky sources claim Rose knows exactly where he wants to end up if he's allowed to leave Tottenham before the August 31 transfer deadline.

They say the defender has his heart set on joining Antonio Conte's Chelsea or Jose Mourinho's United if he's sold.

Sky sources indicate Rose has not asked Tottenham to let him leave though.

And therefore a transfer request has not been handed to club chiefs either.

Tottenham received £50m from Manchester City for Kyle Walker last month and would expect to command a similar fee for Rose.
