At least that’s the verdict of beIN Sports journalist Richard Keys amid speculation Pep Guardiola wants a reunion with the Chile international.

Sanchez has entered the final 12 months of his current Gunners deal and has shown no signs he’ll agree a contract extension.

That situation has led to speculation he will quit the Emirates this summer, rather than leave on a free transfer next year.

Sanchez has been linked with City, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Paris St-Germain since the end of last season.

Richard Keys revealed on Twitter that he thinks Alexis Sanchez will move to Manchester City

And Keys reckons a move to the Etihad is on the cards before deadline day.

On Twitter, a fan asked him: "Do you still think City will sign Sanchez?"

And Keys replied: "Until the window shuts and he's still at Arsenal - yes."

Chile international Alexis Sanchez has entered the final year of his current Arsenal deal

If Sanchez leaves Arsenal before August 31, he’ll bring the curtain down on a three-year spell in north London.

During that time the 28-year-old’s scored 72 goals in 144 appearances, as well as winning the FA Cup twice.

He’s yet to feature this term though due to a strained abdominal muscle.

Arsenal take on Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, and Alexis is touch-and-go to play.
