Man Utd have been handed a boost in their hunt for Monaco ace Thomas Lemar

Manchester United have been handed a boost in their hunt for Monaco star Thomas Lemar.

The Sun say the Ligue 1 champions are willing to sell the France international, 21.

United and Arsenal are in the hunt for the winger.

Arsene Wenger is a huge admirer of Lemar and he’s desperate to bring the attacker to the Emirates before the window shuts next week.

Lemar would follow Bernardo Silva, Benjamin Mendy and Tiemoue Bakayoko out of Monaco.

The Sun add that Monaco are willing to listen to all offers for Lemar, with the Premier League’s big boys interested.

United are still in the hunt for Fulham sensation Ryan Sessegnon, ESPN claim.

The 17-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Championship side this summer.

United, Liverpool and Tottenham have all been credited with interest in the left-back.

However, ESPN say the Red Devils reckon Sessegnon would prefer to stay in London if he decided to leave Fulham.

Ashley Young is ready to shine again for United.

The former England star has been sidelined since damaging his hamstring towards the end of last season.

He missed United's Europa League triumph over Ajax in Stockholm and all of the pre-season schedule.

And Young says he’s is confident he can make a positive impact when the chance comes and still be an integral part of Jose Mourinho's squad.

Young said: "It's great to be back. As a player, you want to be back on the pitch and it was good to get minutes under my belt.

"I'm feeling good, I'm feeling fit. I could've played longer, but I was brought off.

"I've worked hard since I had the operation done 13 weeks ago, so I'm happy to be back out there.

"I've been training with the team for 10 days or so now, so, whenever the manager calls on me, I'm ready to go.

"For us, it was a bit like a pre-season game. We're obviously trying to get the win, but we wanted to get the fitness levels up too, and we'll just take it from here."
