Loris Karius has been chosen by Jurgen Klopp as his man between the sticks for the huge clash with the Gunners.
And fans are speculating on Twitter that the 29-year-old may have had a falling out with Klopp or that the club may have received a bid for him.
Another possibility could be that the German boss is taking the opportunity to rotate some of his team - but that seems an odd decision to make ahead of the crunch clash with Arsene Wenger’s side.
Although Liverpool supporters have become accustomed to watching him make some dreadful errors over the past couple of seasons, Mignolet hasn’t actually dropped any clangers for a long time.
And many are disappointed that he won’t be in the line-up for today’s match at Anfield.
