The Blues yesterday clinched the £40m signing of the 24-year-old - who made 198 appearances for Arsene Wenger's side after joining from Southampton back in 2011.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, who had entered the final year of his contract, rejected a £150,000-a-week offer to stay at the Emirates, pushing for £200,000.

And Starsport understands the England international has agreed a huge financial package with the Stamford Bridge side worth £220,000-a-week.

That means he will become Chelsea’s top earner, overtaking huge names like Eden Hazard, Alvaro Morata and Thibaut Courtois.

Surely there will be plenty of Blues players requesting a new deal after the arrival of Oxlade-Chamberlain?!
