Arsenal are poised for a day of outgoings rather than incomings with the transfer window set to close at 11pm tonight.
Alexis Sanchez and Lucas Perez might go while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain seems certain to seal his move to Liverpool.
Sanchez would be the biggest loss as Manchester City try to persuade the Gunners to part with their star man.
But time is against City with Sanchez due to be in international action later today.
Gunners great Seaman hopes times runs out for Pep Guardiola and that, if he does go, Wenger has a replacement lined up.
Seaman told talkSPORT: “Is Sanchez going to have time to complete a move to Man City with the medical and everything and being on international duty?
“It’s worrying but Arsene might have some signings up his sleeve that nobody’s heard of yet.
“I think they needs a strong centre half and a dominant central midfielder.
“That proposed swap deal with Sterling [for Sanchez], I’d have taken a swap deal with Yaya Toure.”
