Jose Mourinho believes Chelsea played better football under him than they did last season when they won the Premier League.

The Special One believes his Blues side from 2014/15 was better to watch than Antonio Conte’s triumphant team.

Speaking to The Times, Mourinho said: “For me, let’s be honest and objective.

“The last three Premier League champions — Chelsea with Mourinho, Leicester with [Claudio] Ranieri, Chelsea with Conte — which of these teams was the most offensive one? Which played more quality football?

“It was mine. But nobody says.”

Ryan Giggs believes Liverpool can challenge for the Premier League title after keeping hold of Philippe Coutinho.

The Brazilian was linked with a move away from Anfield to Barcelona this summer.

Giggs said: “I didn't fancy Liverpool before the season started, but they've made some decent buys and kept Coutinho which is a boost for them.

“To win the league you need a top goalkeeper and you wonder have they got that?

“That would be the only question, but after the business they've done I've probably changed my mind a little bit and they will be in the mix.”

Juan Mata believes Marcus Rashford can become even better for United and England in years to come.

“I’m not surprised,” the Spaniard told talkSPORT when asked about the teenager’s form.

“Since the first moment we saw him in training, we thought he was something special.

“And he’s making it real. He’s scoring for England, for us [Manchester United] and he has been a really good player and a real threat for opposition defenders.

“I think he can be even bigger. He has a great mentality and great qualities to become a big, big player.”
