This summer saw prices soar like never before with Neymar moving from Barcelona to PSG in a world-record £198m move.

And the Belgian responded to that price and was quick to laugh with reporters and say he would be the first £1bn footballer.

Hazard also underlined that he is committed to Chelsea, despite rumours linking him with a move away from Stamford Bridge.

“PSG paid him €222m (£198m), then I'm worth a billion…” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“No, I'm telling you to joke, I can not say how much my card cost.

“I have to concentrate on my job, on training and matches with Chelsea.

“Every year there are rumours about my own change of shirt, but then count the facts, and I'm always here to give the best.”

Hazard was fine form last season, helping the Blues to Premier League title glory.

And he could make his return for Chelsea following ankle surgery this weekend when they take on Leicester.

The Blues have won their last two after losing to Burnley on the opening day at Stamford Bridge.

Both Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas were sent off in that match.
