Chelsea have cleared out Diego Costa’s locker at the club’s Cobham training ground

The Spain international is currently in Brazil and refusing to train with the Blues.

Antonio Conte told the striker he is no longer in his plans at Stamford Bridge, saying Costa needs to find a new club.

Reports yesterday claimed the 28-year-old was back in London to have crunch talks with Chelsea chief Conte.

However, it’s now been claimed the striker is still in Brazil.

And according to The Sun, Chelsea have started to clear out Costa’s locker after he refused to return to west London.

They add that the Blues have also moved Costa’s car from the first-team car park and dumped it in one of the youth team bays.

Costa has his heart set on a return to Atletico Madrid to reunite with Diego Simeone.

The striker has been left out of the club's Champions League squad this season.

Should Costa join Atletico in January, he will not be cup-tied and he’ll be able to play in the competition.

Reports today even claimed Chelsea and Atletico could agree on a swap deal involving the Blues star and France international Antoine Griezmann.
