The midfielder racked up 648 appearances for the Blues on the way to becoming their all-time leading goalscorer.

When he left Stamford Bridge to join Manchester City in 2014, many fans feared they would never see him in the famous blue jersey again.

But all may not be lost, as the 39-year-old has been filmed back at the Blues’ Cobham training ground.

He turned up to help old team-mate Jody Morris in a training session with the Under-18s.

The former England international put the youngsters through their paces with an impressive game of El Rondo.

Fans watching the clip – posted by Chelsea’s official YouTube account – were quick to comment their praises of the Blues icon.
