One of Arsene Wenger's closest allies, Dick Law, is leaving Arsenal

That's according to The Telegraph who say Arsene Wenger is about to lose one of his closest allies at the club.

It's another blow for the under-fire manager after the Gunners' disastrous start to the season.

They've lost two of their opening three games and a number of their top stars are out of contract at the end of the season and show no sign of renewing.

Former Team Sky legal expert Huss Fahmy has been brought in to work on contracts.

But The Telegraph say it is unclear at this stage whether Law will be replaced.

Law is thought to have stepped down in order to return to America for family reasons

If a new face comes in they will be met with a challenging first window.

Clubs will undoubtedly be in for Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, who will be able to walk away for nothing in 2018.

It appears chief executive Ivan Gazidis is gearing up for a more hand-on role at The Emirates.

He has added an office at the Gunners' London Colney training ground, in addition to his Highbuy House base.
