Chelsea welcome London rivals Arsenal to Stamford Bridge on Sunday (1.30pm) for their Premier League clash.

And Arsene Wenger is expected to start the Gunners’ £52m record signing against the champions.

Lacazette was surprisingly dropped to the bench at Liverpool last month but has two goals from three starts for Arsenal.

Kante knows the ex-Lyon hitman well from their time in Ligue 1 and with France.

And the Chelsea midfielder is wary of the qualities his international colleague possesses.

“I think maybe in England, you don’t know him very well but he started to score,” Kante told Starsport.

“In France, he was a very good goalscorer who scored for many, many years and he will be a threat for Sunday’s game.

“We have to be ready to stop him but the most important thing is the team and we need to win.”

Arsenal have two days less rest time ahead of the game with Chelsea due to their Europa League duties.

The Gunners face Cologne tomorrow (8.05pm) but Lacazette is unlikely to play.

Chelsea, meanwhile, go in to the London derby off the back of a 6-0 drubbing of Qarabag yesterday.
