His eyes were filled with tears as Giorginio Wijnaldum tried to comfort him.
Jurgen Klopp also patted him on the back but it didn’t appear to work.
The short clip has gone viral since it was posted to Twitter.
“He’s crying because he has to deal with our back four for the next eight months,” one wrote.

It wasn’t the only post-match moment that grabbed the headlines.
Klopp was caught on cameras yelling at the Sevilla bench “what have I done?” after they appeared to accuse him of getting manager Eduardo Berizzo sent off.
