Antonio Conte says his thoughts are with those affected by the Parsons Green attack

Scotland Yard today confirmed an improvised explosive device was detonated on a tube in south London.

The Parsons Green blast is being treated as a terror attack.

22 people are being treated in hospital with burn injuries.

And Chelsea boss Conte says everyone must stick together and show solidarity.

Conte said: “All our thoughts are with the people affected by the issue on the tube today.

“For sure this incident is very dangerous and your mind goes on the situation.

“We have to try to think only to play the game. This is the best way.

“I remember when I was a coach on the national team and the terrorist attack.

“We stayed with the national team and we had to play against Belgium. In this case it is important to continue.

“For sure there is a great disappointment, it is very difficult to understand why.

“We have to continue to show that we are stronger than them.”

Chelsea face Arsenal on Sunday afternoon at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have had a fine start to the season, winning three of their opening four games.
