The Arsenal star was heavily linked with a Gunners exit this summer.

Sanchez, 28, almost joined Manchester City on deadline day but the move didn’t materialise.

City bid £60m for the Chile international but Arsenal couldn’t land a replacement in time, despite tabling a £92m offer for Monaco sensation Thomas Lemar.

And according to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, Sanchez now wants to join Real.

They say the winger, who is out of contract in north London next summer, will not renew with Arsenal.

Diario Gol add that Sanchez’s agent has already contacted Real to assess their interest in the former Barcelona star.

Real president Florentino Perez will now reportedly decide over the next few months whether to make a move for the Arsenal ace.

Sanchez was booed by sections of fans on his return to action for Arsenal earlier this month.

The attacker was the Gunners’ top goalscorer last season with Sanchez netting 30 times in all competitions under Arsene Wenger.

Should Arsenal lose Sanchez, Wenger has already confirmed he will make another move for Lemar, despite the 21-year-old snubbing the Gunners this summer.
