Arsene Wenger wants Danny Welbeck and Aaron Ramsey to pen new long-term deals with the club.

Arsenal are facing the possibility of losing Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil for free next summer when their contracts expire.

And Wenger is now facing the same situation with Wales midfielder Ramsey and England striker Welbeck, who will both have just a year left on their current contracts at the end of the season.

England duo Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Kieran Gibbs were sold last month as they entered the final 12 months of their deals at the Emirates.

Wenger confirmed he wants Ramsey and Welbeck to commit their long-term future to the club, but insists there is no need to panic if key players don’t sign straight away.

He said: “Yes, that is something we want to address. Both of them are in a good moment for us.

“But this season there were 107 players in the Premier League who got into the final year of their contract for the first time and you will see that more."

Mesut Ozil may be set for a January move to Serie A.

Italian outfit Inter Milan are interested in swooping for the player for a cut price.

The German has not held negotiations with his club recently and the Gunners risk losing him for free next summer.

Italian outlet Transfermarketweb report that Arsenal have ‘made their peace’ with Ozil’s decision not to renew his deal beyond next June.

Inter are currently unbeaten in the league this season but may lose key players such as Ivan Perisic when the transfer window re-opens.

Ozil is on their radar and Arsenal may be willing to sell the midfielder in January to avoid him leaving for nothing.

Arsenal's Alexandre Lacazette must get more physical, according to manager Arsene Wenger.

The Frenchman moved to the Premier League side in the summer for a fee of £52m.

He has enjoyed a good start to his North London career but fellow countryman Wenger has warned him he must toughen up to be a success in England.

“He still needs to adapt to the physical aspect, on the other fronts there are no problem at all,” he said.

if Lacazette wants to prove he can cut it physically in England, he could not have picked a better club to face up against this weekend.

Arsenal face Tony Pulis' West Brom on Monday evening; a team renowned for their physicality.

"They are very strong on set pieces, solid defensively - it’s tough to score against them," said Wenger.
