Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger now wants Alexandre Lacazette to start scoring away

The club’s £52m record signing from Lyon has scored four goals in six Premier League games.

Since arriving in the summer, he has only played the full 90 minutes once in England’s top flight.

But the goals are already beginning to flow, especially at the Emirates.

Lacazette doubled his tally last night scoring twice in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over West Brom.

However, he is still awaiting his first strike away from north London.

Wenger, though, is confident his star striker will replicate his Emirates form on the road.

“Yes, he has found confidence and I believe he is adapting quickly to the demands of the Premier League,” Wenger said after the victory over West Brom.

“I think it's quite positive. Now he has to score away from home, but he was unlucky as well away to Stoke I must say.

“Overall it's a good sign that he keeps scoring at home.

“He’s not only a goalscorer, his link up play is good.

“He fights as well, he’s not fazed by the physical challenges that West Brom gave us today and overall he looks to adapt very quickly and very well.”

Arsenal travel to BATE in the Europa League as soon as Thursday, but Lacazette may not feature in Belarus.

The Gunners then host Premier League new boys Brighton on Sunday before their stars head off for the October international break.

Lacazette will have to wait until Arsenal go to Watford on October 14 to see if he can get his first away goal in English football.
