The Dolphins were in the UK last week before they locked horns with New Orleans Saints at Wembley on Sunday.

In the build up to the clash, the cheerleaders linked up with Palace’s Crystals at Selhurst Park.

Having seen the girls strut their stuff, the Dolphins were adamant that the Premier League should have some more cheer.

When asked if the likes of United should be branching out into cheerleading, second-year Dolphins cheer Alexandra said: “Definitely.

“I think the Crystal Palace cheerleaders are amazing.

“They’re beautiful and their personalities were brilliant.

“I can totally see them out and about in the community lifting people’s spirits.

“It’s about putting smiles on faces.”

Brit-born Holly, who hails from Bristol, echoed her team-mate's comments.

She added: “It’s a fun option, it would be great to have a few more teams [in the Premier League] because the Crystal Palace girls are really lovely.”

The Miami Dolphins cheerleaders provide support to the team from the sidelines home and away.

But the ladies’ role as franchise ambassadors doesn’t finish once they leave the stadium.

“We do several hours out in the community,” Alexandra said.

“We visit elementary schools, teach dance to little girls and visit nursing homes. That’s just in our community.

“Outside of that we’ve obviously been in London, but we do military tours all around the world and do a lot more than just what you see on the football field.”

All the Dolphins cheerleaders are College educated.

Third-year cheer and Miami native Jess is also a trained nurse.

She said: “I’m actually doing both at the moment so I have to juggle, but it’s a great experience and I love nursing which is why I still do it.

“So when I’m not cheering on the sidelines I’m saving lives as a nurse.

“It’s an extreme difference but they’re both my passion.”
