Real didn’t make a blockbuster signing this year after missing out on Kylian Mbappe to PSG.

Madrid drafted in Theo Hernandez and Dani Ceballos but neither are household names.

The European champions even made a net profit, after selling Alvaro Morata to Chelsea and Danilo to Manchester City.

It means Real have a healthy bank balance and can spend big next summer.

Spanish outlet Marca say Tottenham duo Kane and Alli are two names being looked at by Real.

But their report concedes it won’t be easy to get either of the England stars.

Tottenham won’t want to lose striker Kane or midfield maestro Alli before heading to their new home stadium next year.

Spurs are playing away at Wembley for this season before returning to a rebuilt White Hart Lane for the 2018/19 campaign.

And top brass at the club will want a strong squad to show off to fans at their new ground next term.

Real will get a closer look at the pair later this month when Madrid take on Tottenham in the Champions League.

Before that game, Mauricio Pochettino's outfit take on Bournemouth at Wembley on Saturday (3pm).
