Jose Mourinho’s medical team are concerned about Marcus Rashford’s fitness levels.

The 19-year-old forward has featured heavily for club and county this season.

And, according to ClubCall, Manchester United fear that could lead to him sustaining an injury.

The Red Devils are about to enter a crucial phase of the campaign, with Premier League fixtures against Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea in the next three weeks.

Rashford could be named as a substitute for Saturday’s Premier League game against Liverpool.

Marouane Fellaini could be out of action for up to a month.

The 29-year-old midfielder sprained knee ligaments during Belgium’s win against Bosnia and Herzegovina on Saturday.

At first it was feared he had ruptured his knee ligaments.

But Starsport understands Fellaini has sprained his medial collateral ligament (MCL).

He will definitely miss the Liverpool clash, along with Paul Pogba, Marcos Rojo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Real Madrid are planning to sell Gareth Bale next summer.

Bale is a long-term target for United chiefs, having lost out in the battle to sign him for Tottenham in 2013.

But the 28-year-old faces an uncertain future at the Bernabeu as a result of his disappointing form.

And, according to Mundo Deportivo, Real chiefs are ‘determined to sacrifice’ Bale and expect there to be plenty of Premier League interest.

Bale would still likely cost a fair whack because he is under contract until 2022.
