Manchester United want Zlatan Ibrahimovic to return to first-team action against Arsenal in less than two months.

The 36-year-old was initially expected to be out until at least the New Year following his ACL injury.

However, the remarkable speed to his recovery has left Jose Mourinho and his staff more hopeful.

According to The Sun, the United manager is looking to have Ibrahimovic available for the trip to Arsenal.

The Red Devils travel to the Emirates on December 2 for their first Premier League showdown of the season.

And it is said United's top scorer last term could play in the crunch game.

Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United are all in the running for Dele Alli, according to Spanish newspaper SPORT.

Tottenham's star midfielder is being tracked by the Catalan giants.

However, United and Madrid are also interested in signing the England international.

It is said the 21-year-old could cost around £134m.

Both Jorge Mendes and Mino Raiola are looking to represent Alli, and moves to either Madrid, United or Barca have been promised.

Juan Mata wants United to beat rivals Liverpool in style on Saturday at Anfield.

“This is one of the big games of the season without a doubt,” Mata wrote on his blog.

“There’s no need to say what it means for us and for our fans, and I hope that we can play a great game and take the three points to Manchester.

“We will try to extend our good run of results since the season started.

“I also hope that none of my team-mates has physical problems in the second game with the national teams as it was the case with [Marouane] Fellaini, to whom I wish a speedy recovery.”
