United head to the home of their bitter rivals joint-top of the table and in red-hot form.

And Babb wants Jose Mourinho to go for all three points and made the game an eye-catching spectacle.

“You harp back to Liverpool’s defensive frailties and I think he could go ‘you know what guys, we’re scoring goals for fun’,” Babb told Sky Sports News.

“What’s it? Nine goals in their last three games.

“They could go to Anfield with that attitude of ‘we can win this and we can win it quite comfortably if we attack a frail back four’.

“So will he be that cagey? When that confidence is flowing through the side, does he have to sure it up?

“I don’t think he has to because that team can score goals at will.

“I’d like to see them go with an attacking approach because it will make a fantastic spectacle.”

Mourinho is likely to have Romelu Lukaku available after the striker suffered an injury scare playing for Belgium.

But Lukaku's international team-mate Marouane Fellaini has a knee problem and is set to miss out.

Paul Pogba is also absent with a hamstring problem, leaving Mourinho short of options in the middle of midfield.

Captain Michael Carrick has also been short of full fitness, leaving Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic as probable starters in the centre of the park.
