Calum Chambers has signed a new Arsenal contract

The defender has committed his future to the north Londoners until 2021.

The 22-year-old defender, who spent last season on loan with Middlesbrough, has made 60 appearances for the Gunners since signing from Southampton in 2014.

Chambers has also been capped three times for England having made his international debut in a friendly against Norway in September 2014.

The versatile defender helped the England U21’s win the Toulon Tournament at the end of the 2015/16 season.

Arsenal chief Arsene Wenger offloaded Kieran Gibbs and Gabriel Paulista in the summer.

But the Frenchman has high hopes for Chambers following his impressive displays at the Riverside last term.
