The Spanish football expert reckons the Special One has the French giants lined up as part of his managerial career.

And Balague has opened up on the rumours the former Real Madrid and Chelsea boss could end up at PSG.

He explained to Sky Sports: “That he will end up at PSG. I think it was always part of his journey.

“He would go to a team that is superior in the French league but still has not shown - let's see what happens this season - that they have the level to win the Champions League.

“We know Jose is capable of making that kind of jump if given the team.

“The squad is there to challenge for the next few years but those words also coincide with wanting a new contract so let's wait and see.”

Mourinho recently revealed that Manchester United might not be his last club in management.

“What I can say is that I am still a manager with questions, with ambitions, with a desire to do new things and I do not think… I am sure that I will not finish my career here,” he told Telefoot.

United drew with arch rivals Liverpool 0-0 at Anfield on Saturday leading to criticism of Mourinho’s defensive style.

Next up for the Red Devils is a Champions League trip to Benfica on Wednesday.
