The former Liverpool and Tottenham midfielder selected his best XI in a 4-3-3 formation in his latest Daily Mail column.

Three Spurs stars make it after they came out on top in the battle of Redknapp’s old clubs, beating Liverpool 4-1 at Wembley to draw level on points with second-placed Manchester United.

The Red Devils lost 2-1 away to Huddersfield, and three players from the newly promoted side make it into Sky Sports pundit Redknapp’s team too.

Other standout results from the weekend include Everton’s 5-2 loss at home to Arsenal, and Brighton winning 3-0 away to West Ham.
