West Brom have launched an audacious bid to sign Paris Saint-Germain's Poland international Grzegorz Krychowiak.

Tony Pulis is battling to secure the defensive midfielder on loan for the season, with talks now understood to be at an advanced stage.

Krychowiak, signed for a fee of around £28 million from Sevilla last year, has been made available by PSG and Albion have moved in to bring him to the Hawthorns.

The 27 year-old could fly into England for a medical if talks continue to run smoothly.

Krychowiak was seen as one of Europe's best defensive midfielders during his time at Sevilla but he has endured a difficult campaign under old manager Unai Emery in Paris.

Pulis is also swooping for Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs in a £7m deal. Gibbs leaves Arsenal after a 13-year association and joins West Brom after his move to Watford collapsed over personal terms.

Chelsea are in talks with Swansea over the £15m signing of Fernando Llorente.

The champions made their move on Tuesday and are convinced a deal can be done for the Spain international, a long-term target for Antonio Conte.

Llorente has not played this season after suffering an arm injury on holiday but Conte is closing in on his signing, with Swansea preparing for his departure.

Stoke are reviving their bid to sign Manchester City's Fabian Delph and want to complete a deal before Thursday's deadline. Delph is back on the radar and Stoke are prepared to offer £12m for the England international as manager Mark Hughes pursues an eighth signing of the summer.

The midfielder will have to take a drop in salary but Stoke are keen and want to tie up his capture in the next 24 hours. A possible loan move has also not been ruled out.

Stoke have confirmed the £18m signing of defender Kevin Wimmer from Tottenham Hotspur.

Everton are set to sign Hajduk Split striker Nikola Vlasic for £8m. Vlasic, 19, played against Everton in both the recent Europa League ties and an announcement is expected soon.

Everton have also been knocked back by Cardiff after making an inquiry for highly-rated forward Kenneth Zohore.

Reading are poised to confirm the £7.5m signing of Fulham striker Sone Aluko.

Harry Redknapp's third bid of £3.75m for Bristol City defender Aden Flint has been rejected, but he has signed Brentford's Harlee Dean for £2.2m.

Newcastle defender Grant Hanley will have a medical at Norwich on Wednesday after the two clubs agreed a £3.5m fee.

Watford manager Marco Silva is targeting a reunion with Liverpool outcast Lazar Markovic.

Silva signed Markovic on loan at Hull City last season and is eyeing a similar deal for this season, though Liverpool would prefer to offload the Serbian permanently.

Liverpool are also considering loaning out winger Ryan Kent, who is a target for a number of clubs including Bournemouth, Birmingham and Derby.
